Artist's Comments
After doing some recollection of the past, especially for some inspiration, I recalled the artist Stephen Gammell whose works were made particularly famous in Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. I figured this was a respectable homage to his work, as I tried to imitate his styles, including the use of the pencil fineness and the various blurs used to distort images and backgrounds. The result: pretty scary stuff!
For this one, I required some basic assistance. So I used this: [link] My sincere apologies to this unfortunate victim of leprosy. This is my work entirely, and is not directly based off of any one of Stephen Gammell's works in particular, but I have always appreciated the style that he used for macabre images. I have neither given nor received any unauthorized aid, nor have I witnessed a violation of the Honor Code. |

So I say run, run, my sparkling light
Have your fun and then come home at night
I'm sure you'll tell me something new.
Yeah I can see the world through you.
I think I had 1-3. Were there any others after that?

And you wonder where these dreams go, but you're falling anyway....
I was mostly inspired by that guy Stephen Gammell. You know...that guy who illustrated the legendary Scary Stories series.
